Tour overview

Enjoy safe travel and great views during the whole trip.

Wild forest terrain breaks up the architectural rhythm of India's classic heritage circuit on this six-day journey. The Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Tour connects Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with Ranthambore National Park, giving travellers a combination of city heritage, Mughal architecture, Rajasthan's royal character and a scheduled wildlife safari.

Delhi introduces the route through selected historic and capital landmarks before the journey reaches Agra and its celebrated Mughal monuments. Instead of travelling directly from Agra to Jaipur, the itinerary turns towards Ranthambore, where forests, rocky outcrops, grasslands and water bodies replace the urban landscapes of the first two destinations.

A scheduled safari provides an opportunity to enter the national park in search of its native wildlife. Bengal tigers are Ranthambore's best-known inhabitants, although sightings depend entirely on natural movement and can never be guaranteed. Jaipur completes the journey with its royal heritage and Pink City surroundings.

The 5 nights 6 days Golden Triangle with Ranthambore tour package works particularly well for families, couples, wildlife enthusiasts and private groups who want more than a conventional Delhi–Agra–Jaipur itinerary. Scheduled intercity travel is handled by private air-conditioned car and driver, while the forest safari operates according to the applicable park permit and authorised safari vehicle arrangements.

Tour Itinerary

Day1

Delhi Arrival & Capital City Sightseeing

Arrive in Delhi and meet your assigned private driver at Delhi Airport, railway station, hotel or another confirmed pickup location. Proceed towards the selected hotel and complete check-in according to the property's applicable timing. After refreshments and a suitable rest period, begin the first sightseeing programme. Delhi receives dedicated time on the opening day so travellers can see the capital without combining its main attractions with an immediate long-distance road journey.

Begin travelling through selected areas representing Delhi's historical and modern character. The exact route will depend on arrival time, hotel location, weekly closures and traffic conditions. Since attractions are spread across a large city, sightseeing is arranged geographically rather than repeatedly driving between distant areas. This keeps more of the day available for actual visits and less for unnecessary city traffic.

Later, continue through central Delhi and its prominent avenues before returning to the hotel. Guests with additional time can consider an appropriate market or dining area, while those arriving after a long journey may finish the programme earlier. Shopping is completely optional. Return to the selected accommodation and spend the first overnight stay in Delhi.

Day2

Delhi to Agra & Mughal Heritage Sightseeing

Have breakfast, complete check-out and begin the private road journey towards Agra. Leaving Delhi in the morning provides sufficient time to reach the city and cover its principal heritage sites without compressing them into the late afternoon. Take a practical refreshment stop along the route when required. On arrival, proceed to the hotel for check-in or begin sightseeing directly according to the available room and monument timings.

Proceed towards the TajMahal and allow sufficient time for security procedures and sightseeing within the complex. Walk through the gardens and principal visitor areas while observing the monument from different accessible viewpoints. Security restrictions apply to items carried inside, so guests should check permitted belongings beforehand. The TajMahal is generally closed to regular visitors on Fridays, and the sightseeing order must be adjusted when travel dates overlap with the weekly closure.

Continue towards Agra Fort, where fortified gateways, courtyards and former imperial areas present another side of Mughal history. Spend adequate time inside the accessible sections rather than reducing the fort to a quick photography halt. Afterwards, proceed to the selected Agra hotel if check-in was not completed earlier. Keep the evening free for rest and dinner. Spend the second overnight stay in Agra.

Day3

Agra to Ranthambore& Wildlife Resort Stay

Begin with breakfast, check out and meet your private driver for the journey towards Ranthambore. Today's road sector moves away from the busy heritage cities and towards the forests surrounding SawaiMadhopur. The drive takes several hours, so a suitable lunch or refreshment break can be taken along the route. No major monument visit is added simply to lengthen the sightseeing list, allowing travellers to reach the wildlife destination at a practical hour.

As the journey approaches SawaiMadhopur, the surroundings gradually become more rural and the atmosphere changes considerably from Delhi and Agra. Proceed towards your selected wildlife resort or hotel on arrival and complete check-in. Use the remaining time to rest and prepare for the scheduled forest safari. Guests should keep the same original identification documents used during the safari reservation readily available.

Reconfirm the following day's safari reporting time and applicable pickup arrangement with the hotel or safari operator. Safari vehicles, zones and entry procedures are governed by the relevant forest authorities and cannot be freely altered at the last moment. Have dinner according to your selected hotel meal plan and spend the night in the Ranthambore/SawaiMadhopur area.

Day4

Ranthambore Wildlife Safari & Drive to Jaipur

Prepare for your Ranthambore National Park safari according to the shift confirmed with the forest permit. Safaris can operate during designated morning or afternoon sessions depending on season, permit availability and park regulations. Carry the required original identification and report at the specified location on time. The forest visit may be conducted in an authorised shared Gypsy or Canter according to the category booked.

Travel through the allotted forest zone, where dry deciduous woodland, rocky ridges, grassland and water bodies provide habitats for numerous species. Tigers receive the greatest attention, but the park also supports deer, nilgai, wild boar, langurs, crocodiles and many bird species. Wildlife moves freely within its natural habitat, which means tiger sightings or sightings of any specific animal cannot be guaranteed. The safari should therefore be enjoyed as a complete forest outing.

After completing the safari, return to the resort and have breakfast or refreshments according to the safari timing. Later, check out and begin the private road journey towards Jaipur. Reach the Rajasthan capital and proceed to your selected hotel for check-in. Keep the evening free after the combination of safari and road travel. Spend your first overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day5

Full-Day Jaipur Heritage Sightseeing

Have breakfast and begin a complete day of Jaipur heritage sightseeing. Travel towards the historic hill and fort region in the morning, where Rajasthan's royal architecture and the surrounding Aravalli landscape provide a distinct contrast to the previous day's forest terrain. Spend suitable time walking through the accessible courtyards, gateways and palace sections while allowing enough room for photographs and sightseeing.

Return towards central Jaipur for the second part of the programme. Cover the city's principal royal and historical attractions according to their operating hours and take a convenient lunch break between visits. The day is structured to give Jaipur meaningful sightseeing time rather than compressing the city into a short stop before departure. Monument entrance tickets and optional authorised guide charges remain payable separately.

Use the evening around the Pink City and its traditional market areas if interested. Jaipur's bazaars are known for textiles, jewellery, handicrafts and locally produced items, although shopping remains entirely optional. Guests who prefer to rest after sightseeing can return directly to their hotel. Spend the final overnight stay of the tour in Jaipur.

Day6

Jaipur Morning & Departure

Begin the final day with breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight, train or onward road schedule, keep the morning for leisure, a short city drive or last-minute shopping. No lengthy monument visit is fixed because departure requirements vary between travellers. This also provides some flexibility if a Jaipur sightseeing point from the previous day could not be covered because of operating hours or local conditions.

Complete check-out and meet your private driver for the scheduled departure transfer. Travellers with later connections may take a meal break or spend some additional time in an appropriate local area within the confirmed vehicle schedule. Those departing early will proceed directly towards the airport or railway station with sufficient reporting time.

At the agreed time, the driver will drop you at Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Junction railway station or another confirmed local departure point. A Jaipur-to-Delhi private transfer can be added separately when required. The Golden Triangle with Ranthambore Tour 5 nights 6 days concludes after combining Delhi and Agra's historic character, Ranthambore's wilderness and Jaipur's royal Rajasthan heritage.
