Tour overview

Enjoy safe travel and great views during the whole trip.

An additional day makes a noticeable difference when travelling through Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The Golden Triangle Tour Extended is a 3 nights and 4 days itinerary built for travellers who want the classic North India circuit without compressing three major cities into an overly hurried schedule.

Delhi receives dedicated sightseeing time for a combination of historic and modern capital landmarks before the road journey continues to Agra. The next stage focuses on the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, allowing travellers to see two defining examples of Mughal architecture before heading towards Rajasthan.

Jaipur forms the final section with Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and JalMahal, along with time around the Pink City's traditional streets. Compared with the shorter Golden Triangle itinerary, this 3 nights 4 days Delhi Agra Jaipur tour package allows more practical sightseeing hours and fewer compromises between monuments. Private car transportation with a dedicated driver covers the scheduled road sectors and local sightseeing throughout the journey.

Tour Itinerary

Day1

Delhi Arrival & Capital City Sightseeing

Arrive in Delhi and meet your assigned private driver at Delhi Airport, railway station, hotel or another confirmed pickup location. Proceed to your selected hotel and complete check-in according to the property's applicable timing. After refreshments and some rest, begin the capital sightseeing programme according to your arrival schedule. Unlike the shorter Golden Triangle route, this itinerary keeps the first day primarily for Delhi, allowing travellers to see the city without having to leave immediately for Agra.

Start with selected landmarks representing different periods of Delhi's history. Depending on available time, traffic and weekly closures, the route can cover suitable heritage areas along with central Delhi's major avenues. Delhi contains attractions spread across a large geographical area, so the programme is arranged by location rather than repeatedly crossing the city. Entrance tickets for paid monuments and any authorised guide services remain payable separately.

Later, drive through central Delhi and see India Gate and other prominent government-district surroundings accessible on the day. Guests with sufficient time may also visit an appropriate local market or use the evening for dinner at a restaurant of their choice. No compulsory shopping stop is included in the itinerary. Return to the hotel after completing the day's programme and spend the first overnight stay in Delhi.

Day2

Delhi to Agra, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

Have breakfast, complete hotel check-out and meet your driver for the road journey towards Agra. An early departure provides more time for the city's principal Mughal monuments after arrival. Travel by private car with a suitable refreshment stop when required. On reaching Agra, proceed towards the hotel for check-in according to the available timing or begin sightseeing directly when that is more practical.

Visit the Taj Mahal, allowing adequate time for the main monument, gardens and accessible areas within the complex. Visitors must follow the applicable security regulations, and restricted items should not be carried to the entrance. The monument is generally closed to regular visitors on Fridays, so packages involving a Friday Agra visit may require a change in the sightseeing sequence. Monument tickets remain separate from the tour cost unless explicitly included in the final quotation.

Continue towards Agra Fort, the substantial red sandstone complex associated with several Mughal rulers. Walk through its accessible gateways, courtyards, halls and palace areas while observing the architectural contrast with the TajMahal. After completing the day's sightseeing, proceed to the selected Agra hotel if check-in was not completed earlier. Keep the evening at leisure and spend the night in Agra.

Day3

City Palace, Jantar Mantar & Jaipur Departure

Begin the final morning with breakfast before proceeding into Jaipur's historic centre. Visit City Palace Jaipur, where royal courtyards, gateways, museum areas and former palace buildings provide a closer look at the heritage of the Pink City. Since the extended itinerary has already covered Amer Fort on the previous day, the final morning can focus on central Jaipur without requiring an early drive to the city's outskirts.

Continue to Jantar Mantar, situated close to City Palace. Its monumental astronomical instruments demonstrate the scientific interests behind Jaipur's early planning and provide a distinctive contrast to the palaces and forts covered during the tour. Afterwards, spend some time near Hawa Mahal if the previous evening did not allow an adequate stop. Guests with a later departure can also use a short period for local shopping or lunch within the available vehicle schedule.

At the appropriate time, meet the driver for transfer to Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Junction railway station, bus stand or another confirmed local departure point. A return transfer to Delhi can also be arranged when specifically included in the package quotation. The Golden Triangle Tour Extended 3 nights 4 days concludes after providing dedicated time for Delhi, Agra's Mughal landmarks and Jaipur's principal Rajput-era attractions without following the tighter pace of the classic three-day circuit.

Day4

Agra to Jaipur, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal & Pink City

After breakfast, check out and begin the private road journey towards Jaipur. The drive connects Mughal Agra with Rajasthan's capital and forms the second major intercity sector of the Golden Triangle. Take a meal or refreshment break at a convenient location if required. The day's schedule is arranged to provide meaningful Jaipur sightseeing after arrival rather than filling the road journey with unnecessary diversions.

On reaching Jaipur, proceed towards Amer Fort, subject to arrival time and applicable monument hours. Set against the Aravalli hills, the fort contains imposing gateways, courtyards and royal palace sections. Walk through its principal accessible areas and view the surrounding landscape from elevated points. After descending from Amer, make a photography stop beside Jal Mahal at Man Sagar Lake before continuing towards central Jaipur.

Proceed to your selected hotel for check-in and later spend time around Hawa Mahal and the Pink City according to the available evening schedule. The surrounding streets contain traditional markets selling textiles, jewellery, handicrafts and local products. Shopping is optional, and guests who prefer additional rest can return to the hotel earlier. Spend the third overnight stay in Jaipur.
