Tour overview

Enjoy safe travel and great views during the whole trip.

Three legendary cities fit into one compact road journey designed for travellers with limited holiday time. The Golden Triangle Tour Classic connects Delhi, Agra and Jaipur over 2 nights and 3 days, covering the essential landmarks of India's best-known heritage circuit with scheduled transportation by private car.

Delhi opens the journey with selected capital landmarks before the route heads towards Agra. Here, the Taj Mahal forms the centrepiece of the itinerary, accompanied by Agra's Mughal heritage before travelling onward to Rajasthan. Jaipur completes the circuit with Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal, bringing Rajput architecture and the Pink City's historic streets into the final day.

This 2 nights 3 days Golden Triangle tour package follows a quick schedule, making it best suited to travellers comfortable with early starts and substantial road travel. A private air-conditioned car with driver handles the Delhi–Agra–Jaipur sectors and scheduled sightseeing, avoiding the need to arrange separate transport in each city. Families, couples and small private groups can use this itinerary for a short North India heritage break.

Day wise itinerary

Tour Itinerary

Day1

Delhi Arrival, Selected Sightseeing & Drive to Agra

Meet your private driver at Delhi Airport, railway station, hotel or another confirmed pickup point and begin the Golden Triangle journey. Since this is a compact three-day itinerary, an early morning pickup is recommended to provide reasonable sightseeing time before leaving Delhi. Start with selected landmarks according to the pickup time and traffic conditions. The route can include central Delhi areas and suitable heritage stops without attempting to cover the entire capital within a few hours.

Proceed through the capital and see landmarks such as India Gate and other selected attractions included in the final sightseeing plan. Delhi's traffic and monument timings can significantly influence what can comfortably be covered before departure, so the programme remains focused rather than adding a long list of hurried stops. Take a lunch or refreshment break before meeting the driver for the next road sector. Any paid monument tickets remain separate from the package.

Leave Delhi and travel towards Agra by private car. On arrival, proceed to your selected hotel and complete check-in. If daylight and arrival timing permit, guests can use the evening for a short local outing or spend it at leisure after the drive. The TajMahal is reserved for the following morning so sufficient time can be devoted to the monument. Have dinner according to your selected meal plan and spend the first overnight stay in Agra.

Day2

Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Drive to Jaipur

Begin early and proceed towards the Taj Mahal, one of the principal highlights of the Golden Triangle route. Enter according to the applicable ticketing and security procedures and spend sufficient time walking through the main complex and gardens. Travellers should carry only permitted belongings because security restrictions apply at the monument. The TajMahal is generally closed to regular visitors on Fridays, so the itinerary must be adjusted when the travel date falls on the weekly closure.

Return for breakfast according to the selected hotel arrangement and later proceed towards Agra Fort. The vast red sandstone complex served as an important Mughal stronghold and royal residence, with courtyards, gateways, halls and palace sections forming part of the visitor circuit. Spend suitable time walking through the accessible areas before beginning the journey towards Jaipur. Guests interested in a guide can arrange an authorised local guide separately.

Leave Agra and continue by private car towards Jaipur. A lunch or refreshment stop can be made at a convenient location during the road journey. Reach Jaipur later in the day and proceed to your selected hotel for check-in. Keep the evening free to rest or browse a nearby market according to available time. Major Jaipur monuments are reserved for the final morning. Spend the second overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day3

Amer Fort, JalMahal, City Palace, Hawa Mahal & Departure

Have an early breakfast and begin the final day's sightseeing at Amer Fort, situated against the hills outside Jaipur's historic centre. Walk through the fort's accessible gateways, courtyards and royal palace sections while observing the combination of defensive architecture and decorative interiors. Elevated points provide views towards Maota Lake and the surrounding Aravalli terrain. Comfortable footwear is advisable because visiting the complex involves stairs, slopes and considerable walking.

Descend towards Jaipur and stop beside Jal Mahal on Man Sagar Lake for photographs. Continue into the Pink City for City Palace and Jantar Mantar, subject to the time available before departure. City Palace presents Jaipur's royal architectural heritage, while JantarMantar introduces its historic astronomical instruments. Proceed past or stop around Hawa Mahal according to the final schedule and spend a short period in the surrounding old-city area.

After completing Jaipur sightseeing, the driver will transfer you to Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Junction railway station, bus stand or another confirmed local drop point. Travellers requiring a return transfer to Delhi can have that sector added separately when the package is planned, as it significantly increases the final day's driving time. The Golden Triangle Tour Classic 2 nights 3 days concludes after connecting Delhi's capital landmarks, Agra's Mughal heritage and Jaipur's Rajput architecture within a compact three-day road circuit.
