Four remarkable destinations form a rewarding road circuit through Rajasthan's royal cities and the Aravalli countryside. The Glorious Rajasthan Tour is a 5 nights and 6 days itinerary connecting Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ranakpur and Udaipur, with each stop contributing a different architectural and cultural character to the journey.

Jaipur opens the route with Amer Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal. The journey then heads west towards Jodhpur, where the imposing Mehrangarh Fort overlooks blue-painted neighbourhoods and the traditional streets of the old city. From Jodhpur, the road turns towards southern Rajasthan, passing through changing rural and hill landscapes.

Ranakpur Jain Temple provides an important heritage stop between Jodhpur and Udaipur, allowing travellers to see its celebrated marble architecture before continuing into the Mewar region. Udaipur completes this 5 nights 6 days Rajasthan tour package with City Palace, Lake Pichola and its historic lakefront surroundings. Tour Itinerary

Day1

Jaipur Arrival, City Palace, Jantar Mantar & Hawa Mahal

Arrive in Jaipur and meet your private driver at Jaipur Airport, railway station, bus stand or another pickup point confirmed before travel. Proceed to the selected hotel and complete check-in according to the property's applicable timing. Some time is kept free for refreshments and rest before the sightseeing programme begins. The first day's route stays within the historic part of Jaipur so travellers can cover significant landmarks without spending unnecessary hours crossing the city. The final sightseeing sequence will depend on arrival time, traffic conditions and monument operating hours.

Begin with City Palace Jaipur, where courtyards, gateways, museum sections and royal buildings introduce the architectural history of Rajasthan's capital. Continue to nearby Jantar Mantar, whose enormous astronomical instruments were constructed for observing and calculating celestial movements. Despite standing close to one another, the two monuments represent very different aspects of Jaipur's past. Adequate walking time is provided at both locations so guests can see their principal accessible sections rather than treating them as brief photo stops.

Later, travel towards Hawa Mahal and spend time around Jaipur's old Pink City streets. Its distinctive façade remains one of the city's best-known landmarks, while the surrounding market lanes bring travellers into a busy traditional shopping district. Guests interested in textiles, handicrafts, jewellery or local products can browse the market for a short period, while shopping can also be skipped entirely. After completing the evening programme, return to your hotel and spend the first night in Jaipur.

Day2

Amer Fort, Jal Mahal & Jaipur to Jodhpur

Have breakfast, complete check-out and drive towards Amer Fort in the hills north of Jaipur. Spend the morning walking through the fort's main gateways, courtyards and accessible palace areas. Amer combines large defensive walls with more intricate royal spaces, making it an important introduction to Rajasthan's fort architecture. Its elevated position also provides attractive views towards Maota Lake and the surrounding hills. Travellers should keep comfortable footwear because a proper visit involves stairs, slopes and a considerable amount of walking.

After the fort visit, descend towards Jaipur and stop at Jal Mahal beside Man Sagar Lake. Use the lakeside halt for photographs before beginning the longer road journey towards Jodhpur. Travel west by private car through Rajasthan, taking lunch and refreshment breaks at suitable places according to the group's requirements. The intercity drive forms a substantial part of the day, so unnecessary sightseeing diversions are avoided to keep the journey comfortable.

Reach Jodhpur later in the day and proceed to your selected hotel. Complete check-in and keep the evening free after the drive from Jaipur. Guests can relax at the hotel, have dinner according to their selected meal arrangement or take a short independent walk nearby when convenient. The principal Jodhpur monuments are reserved for the following morning, allowing sufficient daylight and sightseeing time. Spend the night in Jodhpur.

Day3

Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada & Jodhpur Blue City

After breakfast, leave for Mehrangarh Fort, which rises prominently above Jodhpur from its rocky hilltop setting. Enter through the fortified gateways and continue into the accessible courtyards, palace rooms and museum areas. The scale of Mehrangarh and its commanding location distinguish it even among Rajasthan's numerous forts. Selected viewpoints provide wide panoramas over Jodhpur, including the clusters of blue-painted houses that have given the older quarters their popular Blue City identity.

Continue to Jaswant Thada, situated close to Mehrangarh. The marble memorial and its comparatively peaceful surroundings provide a noticeable change after the massive stone fort. Spend some time around the accessible complex before proceeding towards the old parts of Jodhpur. Stop for lunch at a restaurant of your choice and keep the afternoon available for a closer look at the city's historic neighbourhoods. The programme remains flexible enough to accommodate walking conditions and local traffic.

Later, visit an accessible section of the Blue City and continue towards the Clock Tower and Sardar Market area. The old market surroundings are known for spices, textiles, handicrafts, traditional products and local food items. Shopping is optional, and travellers who prefer additional leisure time can return to their hotel earlier. After completing the sightseeing circuit, drive back to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Spend your second overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day4

Jodhpur to Ranakpur Jain Temple & Udaipur

After breakfast, check out from the Jodhpur hotel and begin the road journey towards Ranakpur. The route gradually leaves Jodhpur's drier surroundings and enters a more varied landscape as it approaches the Aravalli region. Unlike a direct highway transfer, today's journey includes an important architectural stop before reaching Udaipur. Practical comfort breaks can be taken along the route, while the day's timing will be managed around the applicable visiting hours at Ranakpur.

Arrive at the celebrated Ranakpur Jain Temple, known for its elaborate marble craftsmanship and remarkable interior arrangement. Spend adequate time viewing the permitted areas of the temple while respecting the regulations concerning dress, footwear, photography and visitor conduct. The detailed pillars, ceilings and carved surfaces make Ranakpur substantially different from the forts and royal palaces covered during the previous days. Visitors should follow all current temple rules, as access and photography conditions can vary.

After completing the Ranakpur visit, continue through the Aravalli countryside towards Udaipur. The drive offers a scenic transition into the Mewar region before reaching the Lake City later in the day. Proceed to your selected hotel and complete check-in. Since the day already includes an intercity journey and temple visit, the evening remains free rather than adding another major sightseeing programme. Relax at the hotel and spend your first night in Udaipur.

Day5

City Palace Udaipur, Old City & Lake Pichola

Have breakfast and proceed towards City Palace Udaipur, the principal heritage attraction of the day. Built above Lake Pichola, the palace contains interconnected courtyards, balconies, gateways, museum areas and former royal spaces developed during different periods of Mewar history. Its architecture and lakeside setting contrast strongly with the fortified structures visited earlier in Jaipur and Jodhpur. Several accessible points also provide attractive views towards the lake and surrounding parts of Udaipur.

After completing the palace visit, continue through selected streets of old Udaipur. Take a lunch break at a restaurant of your preference and use part of the afternoon for local sightseeing or shopping. Traditional miniature paintings, textiles, jewellery and handicrafts are commonly found in Udaipur's markets. Shopping remains optional, allowing travellers who prefer a slower schedule to spend additional time around an accessible lakefront area instead.

Towards evening, proceed to Lake Pichola, where guests may take an optional boat ride subject to weather, water conditions, operating schedules and ticket availability. The lake provides a broad perspective of Udaipur's waterfront architecture, ghats and surrounding hills. Those who do not wish to take the boat ride can spend time around the accessible lakeside surroundings. Return to the hotel after the evening programme and spend your second overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day6

Udaipur Leisure Morning & Departure

Begin the final morning with breakfast and keep some time available to relax before leaving Udaipur. Complete check-out according to the hotel's standard schedule and prepare for the departure transfer. Travellers with early flights or trains can proceed directly towards their departure point, while those leaving later may have a few additional hours available within the city.

When sufficient time remains, guests can use the morning for last-minute shopping or a short local drive within the confirmed vehicle schedule. Any additional stop will be planned around the onward travel timing so that adequate reporting time is maintained. Personal meals, purchases and optional activities undertaken during these hours are payable directly by travellers.

At the agreed time, the driver will transfer you to Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur City railway station, bus stand or another confirmed local point. The Glorious Rajasthan Tour 5 nights 6 days ends after travelling from Jaipur's royal landmarks to Jodhpur's formidable fort, through Ranakpur's marble temple architecture and finally into the lakeside surroundings of Udaipur.
