Royal Jaipur City Package

Tour overview

Enjoy safe travel and great views during the whole trip.

Three days in Jaipur offer enough time to understand why Rajasthan's capital remains one of India's most rewarding heritage destinations. The Royal Jaipur City Package is planned for Indian travellers who want a well-organised short holiday covering the city's celebrated forts, royal residences, historic observatories and old-city landmarks without turning the journey into a rushed sightseeing checklist.

The itinerary combines the fortified hills around Jaipur with the architectural character of the Pink City. Amer Fort introduces travellers to Rajput military and palace architecture, while City Palace presents another side of Jaipur's royal history. Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Jal Mahal add distinctly different settings to the route, giving the 2 nights 3 days Jaipur tour package a balanced mix of monuments, photography stops and city drives.

Private road transportation makes the schedule convenient for couples, families, friends and small groups travelling within Rajasthan. Instead of repeatedly arranging local vehicles between attractions, guests can follow a planned sightseeing route with a car and driver. The final day includes Nahargarh Fort, whose elevated position provides a fitting conclusion to a short Jaipur sightseeing tour before departure.

Tour Itinerary

Day1

Arrival in Jaipur, Pink City Sightseeing & Local Markets

Your Royal Jaipur City Tour begins on arrival in Jaipur, where the driver will receive you from the railway station, airport, bus stand or another pre-decided pickup point within the city. After meeting the driver, proceed towards your hotel and complete the check-in formalities according to the property's standard check-in time. The first part of the day is intentionally kept comfortable so that travellers arriving after a road, rail or air journey do not have to begin with an exhausting schedule. Once you have settled into the hotel and had some rest, the sightseeing programme will start according to your arrival time. The drive towards Jaipur's historic centre also gives you the first view of the city's broad avenues, pink façades and busy traditional commercial areas.

The day's principal sightseeing covers the old Jaipur area, beginning with City Palace, the historic royal complex located close to the centre of the walled city. Its courtyards, gateways and museum sections provide an introduction to the artistic and royal traditions associated with Jaipur's rulers. Continue towards Jantar Mantar, where the enormous masonry astronomical instruments demonstrate the scientific interests of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The observatory differs considerably from Jaipur's forts and palaces, making it an important stop rather than simply another heritage monument. Afterwards, proceed towards Hawa Mahal, whose distinctive multi-windowed façade has become one of the most recognisable architectural symbols of Jaipur.

Depending on the time available, the evening can be spent around the traditional shopping streets of the old city. Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar and adjoining market areas are known for jewellery, textiles, handicrafts, mojari footwear, lac work and other Rajasthan-made products. Shopping is optional, allowing guests who prefer a quieter evening to return directly to the hotel after sightseeing. Your driver will coordinate the route according to traffic conditions and the closing timings of the scheduled attractions. At the end of the day's programme, return to the hotel and stay overnight in Jaipur, completing the first day of the Jaipur 2 nights 3 days itinerary.

Day2

Amer Fort, Jal Mahal & Jaipur Heritage Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a full day devoted to the northern and central sections of Jaipur. The morning drive takes you towards Amer Fort, situated against the Aravalli hills outside the main walled city. Reaching Amer earlier in the day generally provides a more comfortable sightseeing window, particularly during Rajasthan's warmer months. The fort complex is extensive, so adequate time is kept for walking through its courtyards, gateways, audience halls and palace sections. Travellers can observe the combination of defensive architecture and decorative craftsmanship that made Amer both a strategic stronghold and a royal residence.

Inside Amer Fort, important sections include the large ceremonial courtyards and beautifully ornamented palace spaces associated with Jaipur's former rulers. Sheesh Mahal, known for its intricate mirror work, remains one of the most admired portions of the complex, while the elevated terraces provide broad views over the surrounding hills and Maota Lake. Rather than hurrying through the monument, the itinerary allows guests to appreciate the different sections at a practical pace. After completing the fort visit, meet the driver at the designated point and begin the return journey towards central Jaipur, with suitable stops planned along the route.

On the way back, halt near Jal Mahal, the striking palace standing within Man Sagar Lake. Entry into the palace itself is generally not part of the regular sightseeing circuit, but the lakeside viewpoint offers an excellent opportunity for photographs and a short break. The remaining afternoon can be used for additional local sightseeing or selected shopping areas, depending on operating hours, traffic and the pace maintained during the Amer visit. Guests may also use available time to browse Jaipur's handicrafts, block-printed fabrics, gemstones or traditional souvenirs without making shopping compulsory. Return to your hotel in the evening for the second overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day3

Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur Panorama & Departure

Begin the final morning with breakfast followed by hotel check-out according to the property's timing. Today's major attraction is Nahargarh Fort, positioned along the Aravalli ridge overlooking Jaipur. The uphill road gradually moves away from the dense city streets and leads towards one of the finest elevated viewpoints around the Rajasthan capital. Unlike the previous day's visit to Amer, the appeal of Nahargarh lies not only in its historical structures but also in its commanding geographical position above Jaipur. On a clear day, the viewpoint provides a broad perspective of the expanding modern city alongside the older planned quarters.

Time will be provided to walk around the accessible portions of Nahargarh Fort and take photographs of Jaipur from the ridge. The fort formed part of Jaipur's historical defensive network and remains closely associated with the city's royal past. Its location gives travellers a completely different visual impression from the monuments situated inside the busy Pink City. Depending on your departure schedule and the time spent at the fort, the driver will plan the descent so that sufficient time remains for the onward transfer. Guests should keep train or flight reporting requirements in mind while deciding how long to remain at the final sightseeing point.

After completing the Nahargarh visit, proceed towards Jaipur Airport, railway station, bus stand or the agreed city drop-off location. If the departure is scheduled considerably later and sufficient time is available, a meal or brief local stop may be arranged independently after consultation with the driver, provided it does not affect the transfer timing. The 3 days Jaipur tour package concludes with the scheduled drop, after covering Jaipur's royal palaces, astronomical heritage, hill forts, lakefront scenery and traditional city quarters. Guests leave with a compact yet substantial introduction to Rajasthan's capital rather than a journey built around hurried monument-to-monument transfers.
